For Tony To the most famous and irreplaceable person of all, our beloved brother Tony, you will always live on in our hearts. May you rest peacefully, knowing how deeply loved you were by all of us. These words, may bring solace to those who loved Tony just as we did, for in them, we find comfort in remembering that love transcends all. Death Is Nothing At All
By Henry Scott-Holland ( a priest at St. Paul's Cathedral of London) The words are from a sermon 1910. Death is nothing at all.
It does not matter.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has truly changed. Everything remains as it was.
I am still I, and you are still you,
and the life we shared together remains untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to one another, that we still are. Call me by the same familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy, loving way you always did.
Let there be no difference in your voice.
Wear no forced air of sadness or sorrow. Laugh as we always did at the jokes we shared.
Play, smile, think of me, and pray for me.
Let my name be spoken just as it always was—in the same effortless way, without a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just round the corner.

All is well.
Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!
